Voodoo Doughnuts is one of the most ultimate of ultimate Portland destinations. In one of the most health-conscious cities in America, this business of (dare I say?) gourmet doughnuts booms all throughout the day. Today I was lucky enough to only have to stand in line for about 10 minutes to wait for my delicious treat. There are only three Voodoo Doughnut stores in the entire world, yet there are parts around the whole world that know about these doughnuts. Whoever comes to visit, think about your favorite food and maybe we can get it as a doughnut...Will you try:
The Loop? A standard yeast doughnut with vanilla frosting covered in Fruit Loops!
The Memphis Mafia? Fried dough with banana chunks and cinnamon sugar covered in a glaze with chocolate frosting, peanut butter, peanuts and chocolate chips!
The Bacon Maple Bar? A raised yeast doughnut with maple frosting and two strips of crispy bacon!
